The event is inspired by the world-wide Colour Run phenomenon where people are coated in an fluro-coloured corn starch powder as they walk, jog, wheel or dance through the 6km fun run and ride.
Organiser and local businessman Steve Wisbey said the many Macarthur locals had already registered and are prepared to go crazy while raising money for a good cause.
‘‘It’s been really exciting with plenty of teams coming on board,’’ he said.
‘‘The event is something even grown ups wills will enjoy…and feel good.’’
Funds raised will go towards Disability Macarthur and help locals living with Multiple Sclerosis.
Mr Wisbey said he was hoping to see more than 1000 people involved with the event and embrace the fun.
‘‘The event definitely makes you feel alive and full of love,’’ he said.
Attendees will don their Rideiculous super hero capes and head bands as well as other goodies they received from registering.
Mr Wisbey said that people can register online or even on the day at Tabcorp Park Menangle from 7am.
