At the Rocky River cricketgame between Laura and Crystal Brook, the home side won the toss and batted first to findthemselves bundled out for only 53 runs in 29 overs.
Opener Michael Gaunt (27) made half the score before being trapped LBW to Campbell Combe.
Number five batterBrad Jackson (15) was the only other batsman to reach double figures before beingbowled by Mark Kelly.
Rhys Millington remained 4no with the remaining batsmen accumulating only three runs between them.
The four bowlers used by Crystal Brook all had success with Combe taking 3/6/9 including seven maidens, Kelly 3/13/6, Hill 2/21 and Tom Kerin 1/10.
Crystal Brook took only 14 overs to chase the required target, closing at 1/56 losing just the one wicket, that of Henry Kerin (15) who was caught by Jaran Turner off Scott Brand who finished with 1/12/3.
The two not out batsmen were Shane Arbon (28) and Combe (5).
The game at Redhill was more of a contest with Redhill winning the toss and batting against Georgetown.
Opener Ben Pilkington (8) was just run-out after some sharp fielding from Andrew Henderson with the score at 25.
Number three batsman Kerr was looking very dangerous until he was well caught by Andrew Henderson for 40 which included five fours and two sixes.
Larry Klingner batted very patiently for 40 before being bowled by Robert Nash.
Redhill were 4/137 at the end of the 31st over and with some excellent spin bowling by Brett Murdock, they lost their last six wickets, including Nathan Hayes (26), for 12 runs, to be all out 149.
Murdock finished with 8/30/12, Nash with 1/15.
Andrew Henderson (14), Shane Ballantyne (44), Riley Hennessy (11) kept Georgetown in front in the run chase and when Brett Ballantyne (45) retired hurt at the end of the 31st over the score was 134.
It took another 14 balls for Georgetown to pass Redhill’s score losing threewickets, finishing 6/150. Bowden picked up two of the late wickets finishing with 2/7.
