Ten teams — Narellan Jets, Camden Rams, Thirlmere Tahmoor Roosters, Picton Magpies, Moss Vale Dragons, Oakdale Workers, Mittagong Lions, Campbelltown City,
Appin Dogs and The Oaks Tigers — will take part in the new season.
The opening round will be played on Easter long weekend, April 2 and 3, where Narellan will host Camden at Narellan Park.
The Oaks will make the trip to Sid Sharpe Oval for their match with Oakdale Workers.
Reigning premiers Picton face neighbours Thirlmere at Thirlmere Sportsground.
Campbelltown City will host Appin in another local derby, while Moss Vale will play Mittagong at Mittagong Sportsground in the final match of the opening round.
Competition media officer Mike Shean said the new season was already exciting with many clubs appearing to be in contention to win the title.
“Picton will arguably be the team to beat, but teams like Camden, The Oaks, who were very impressive late in the season, Mittagong and Narellan will all be knocking on the door,”he said.
“However, the clubs who finished down the ladder last season will be keen to improve, and there’s not much gap between teams likes Thirlmere, Campbelltown City, Oakdale, Moss Vale and Appin and the rest.’’
Pre-season matches will be played before the start of the new season, with full details to be released shortly.
