UPDATE 3.30pm: A Warrnambool man charged with 31 offences vaulted over the side of thedock and into the courtroomduring a remandhearingon Monday.
Anthony Alberts, 30, of Botanic Road, did not apply for bail in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday.
While paperwork was being processed, Mr Albertsjumped out of the dock and into the body of the court.
Sixpolice grabbed him and there wereabout a dozen members of his family in court at the time.
The outbreak led to Mr Alberts’ mother Michelle Debono and grandmother Valda Debono loudly abusing police.
Ms Dobono claimed her son had been denied medical treatment since his arrest on Friday night.
Magistrate John Lesser remanded Mr Alberts in custody until December 7.
He also noted that custody management issues includedMr Alberts’ diagnosis ofdepression and anxiety.
Solicitor Amanda Chambers said her client was also withdrawing from ice use.
EARLIER: A Warrnambool man already facing ice trafficking allegations has been remanded in custody on 31 new charges.
Anthony Alberts, 30, of Botanic Road, was arrested when he reported to the Warrnambool police station as part of his bail conditions on Friday night.
The 31 charges relate to burglaries, thefts, breaching bail and committingoffence while on bail.
He was remanded in custody by a bail justice on Friday night to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday.
Mr Alberts was already on bail charged with trafficking ice and burglary and summons have been issued for another charge of trafficking ice.
