EXACTLY one-hundred years after a group of parents successfully campaigned to establish a school in Nyah West, several generations of the school’s community rallied together on the weekend in celebration of its history.
Nyah reflects on 100 years of changes VIP: Nyah District Primary School Grade 2 and 3 students had a red carpet viewing of the short animated film they helped create, being projected onto the Nyah West Silo on Friday night.

SCHOOL STALWARTS: Sisters Sharon Gregory (nee Bodsworth) and Margaret Bodsworth buy their copy of the Nyah education history book from Nyah District Primary School’s Lois Caelli. The sisters both went to the school and have had children and grandchildren go there as well.
